Delivered to Miss Ward, in the office of Senator John Stennis, and Mr. John Goldsmith, Senate Armed Services Committee staff, a biographic profile of Laotian Defense Minister Sisc25X1 whom Senator Stennis is meeting with the Director tomorrow. 6. With the Director's approval, I told Richard Perle, Senate Subcommittee on National Security and International Operations staff, that Mr. and I would meet with him tomorrow morning at 10:30 a. m. to talk with him about Cuban refugee programs. I made it clear to Perle that we did not follow certain aspects of the Cuban refugee situation closely and he might have to check on those with the office of the 25X1an Coordinator, Department of State, or with HEW. 8. Talked to Miss Jan Loughry who called for Representative Melvin Price (D. , Ill.) to confirm that Representative Price will attend the breakfast and meeting with the Director on Monday, 4 October. Representative Price will drive his own car. Miss Loughry told me also that Representative Price normally returns to the Hill at noontime to be available for any quorum or roll call and probably would not want to stay for lunch. I thanked Miss Loughry for the call. 9. Met with Representative William Bray (R. , Ind. ). Representative Bray will attend the breakfast and meeting at Headquarters on Monday. We will pick him up along with Representative Fisher (D., Texas) and Mr. Blandford, House Armed Services Committee staff, at the Rayburn Building 7:30 Monday morning.
