12. (Unclassified - LLM) Miss Dianthe Johnson, who identified
herself as being with the Senate Press Gallery, called and wanted to know
the Agency's estimate of Russian troops on the Chinese border and explained
that she had been given the run-around by the Department of Defense. I told
her that I was sorry I could not be of any help and explained why, which she
accepted without any problems. Mr. Goodwin's office was advised.

13. (Unclassified - LLM) Lynne Larson, in the office of Represen-
tative Thomas Foley (D., Wash. ), called on behalf of a constituent in Wash-
ington who wanted, to contact an Agency employee concerning a death in the
family. Mr. I Administrative Officer of OER, said he would
handle the notification of the employee concerned and Representative Foley's
office was so advised.
