transcript of the Director's testimony of 29 March.

Science and Astronautics Committee staff, who told me that zairman
Downing, of the NASA Oversight Subcommittee, is consiaeri _ zearings
some time next month to take testimony from NASA and DOE oa the
space shuttle. Mr. Boone indicated that Chairman Downing -,.ay well
request an Agency briefing for the Subcommittee which would include
the Chairman of the full Committee and chairmen of the othe--
Subcommittees on the Soviet and Chinese space programs.
Mr. Boone indicated this was merely an alert and that he woa-d keep
me advised as the matter develops.
4. (Internal Use Only - JGO) Met with Mr. Garner . Cline,
Immigration and Naturalization Subcommittee staff, House Jaiciary
Committee, who told me that the Committee will handle the 'natter
of contacting the official objectors concerning the Jucu Bill, c.. R. 3929.
