6. (Unclassified - GLC) A man who identified himself as James
Masterson, of GAO called to obtain some information about our VIP
investment plan. He said his inquiry was spurredbya call from 'Mr. Bernfeld,
in the office of Representative George Danielson (D. , Calif. ) (see Journal
of 21 July). I discussed the matter generally with Masterson and then asked
Mr. of OGC, to contact him.
7. (Internal Use Only - JGO) Received a call from Mr. Bruce Merkle,
Administrative Assistant to Representative William Bray (R. , Ind. ), who
asked that I stop by during the day tomorrow. Representative Bray has a
matter that he would like to talk about.
