Slatinshek said if I thought that was all there was to it, I was mistaken, and indicated that he had turned up a good deal of information from other sources. 7, Dorothy Fosdick, Staff Director, Senate Subcommittee on National Security and International Operations, said that Senator Henry Jackson was most anxious for an early briefing on the matter. I said I would have to check with the Director. She indicated she was aware of the holddown. 8. Jay Sourwine, Senate Internal Security Subcommittee stall ca e an said that the galleyproofs of the testimony are now available and he would appreciate our review for such changes and deletions as we feel are appropriate.
