day to meet with Representative Charles Gubser (R. , Calif.) but was
unable to do so. An appointment was made to meet with him at 9:15
tomorrow morning in his office.

Armed Services Committee, who told me he had not yet had a chance to oonfi-rrii
with the Chairman about the press release given by Representative Nedzi
(D. , Mich.) yesterday concerning the Intelligence Subcommittee. He noted
somewhat in jest that the press release was not exactly in keeping with the
Chairman's ideas concerning the Subcommittee.
I briefed Mr. Blandford on the following items: 2X1
5. Met with Fran Christy, House immigration 25X1
and Naturalization Subcommittee staff, and Mr. Cornelius Leary, Immigration
and Naturalization Service, Department stice, and reviewed with them
