II JSW) Delivered to Robert Michaels, House Appropriations Committee staff, a blind memorandum dated 30 October 1967 giving characteristics of the STYX missile which Representative Glenard Lipscomb had requested be obtained. 9 JSW) I John S. Warner met with George Mur-phv, of the Joint Committee on Atomic Energy staff, in 25X1 response tol requesting informati a case. It was indicated that there 25X1 was no evidence that had access to Restricted Data which was essentially the question in a letter. Murphy asked numerous other peripheral questions. id his best to answer without going into sensitive matters. Even ua y Mr. Murphy asked for a copy of the damage assessment report and Mr. Warner advised that this could not be made available. Murphy also asked for details on I indicated it was too early in the game to furnish him anything use' u 25X1 although a preliminary report would indicate no evidence yet of access to Restricted Data but that this must be regarded as tentative. Murphy was most unhappy that we could not discuss the case with him.
