MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: Volunteer Employee Savings and Investment Program
At a meeting today, which was attended by General Cushman,
I A I IN I L I I and the undersigned, the Director a reed
to the establishment of a Volunteer Employee Savings and Investment
Program. In discussing the question of consultation with our congres-
sional subcommittees regarding this the Director said he did not intend
to put our subcommittee chairmen in the position of having to approve
or disapprove this plan as such. He proposes to advise them that he
has initiated this program sometime when he is on the Hill on other
matters.
