25X1C4e 1. Mr. advised that his office had a meeting with the general
contractor, for reference contract at
25X1C4a The purpose of the meeting was to discuss contractor's claim for
$22,000 and to establish new schedule for the project.
25X1C4e 2. Mr. stated that had agreed to an $8,000 additive
change'order for additional work required due/~we existing floor con-
ditions. also agreed to the following (dates subject to using
service concurrence):
a. All liquidated damages to date would be dropped.
b. New completion date for Section 1.2.2, Special Provisions,
page IA-1, of the specifications would be 15 Oct 1971.
c. New completion date for Section 1.2.3, Special Provisions,
page 1A-1 of the specs would be 29 December. This would.increase
construction time from 60 days to 75 days to complete work
between Column lines D and End wall A.
New completion date for Section 1.2.4, Special Provisions,
page lA-1 of the specifications would be 7 April 1972. This
would increase construction time from 90 days to 100 days to
complete project.
25X1A5a1e Liquidated damages as listed in Section 2, Special Provisions,
would apply for balance of work.
3. Mr. promised to have more men on the job Monday and complete
work on schedule.
4. The new completion schedule would change project completion dates
from Dec. 11 to 7 April 1972.
