Approved For Release 2000/08/ DP74-00005R000100070043-0 25X1A9a 25X1A9a called and the following was discussed: 1. Outside Cameras (2) do not work.. Five of the 6 (inside) do work. The Motion Detection system does not work: (1) Orig. sub-contractor responsible for the camera has been fired. (2) 2 outside cameras have been returned to Factory because the original sub-contractor fouled them up, they are due back from Factory 24 March (today). (3) The Manufacturer of the Motion Detector is working on this problem. 25X1A6a (4) There is an overall Power problem on the Station which affects the problem above. 25X1A9a The Deputy is working on this problem. 25X1A6a Chuck was told all this by the Deputy Chief, Security-Division, Joe who is the Project Officer and reports that everything possible is being done to make the Systems operational. He expects this to be accomplished in the very near future. I then asked Chuck "Have the Contractors started tearing out the Shelves. His answer was "No." "No contact with Moveable shelving Contractors". I asked. him to advise us the minute they begin as Mr - wants to know. His answer was "Will do!"
