NOTE: The U. S. Government Correspondence Manual indicates
the use of Office Memorandum Form 10 is optional.
Its use in the Agency is not encouraged. The Letterex
carbons do not have the preprinted "TO", "ATTENTION",
"FROM", or "SUBJECT" words. Subsequent reference or
copying of the file copy generates confusion as to
just what the unexplained lines atop the carbon file
copy actually refer to. Use of plain bond is
recommended. The initial typing time saved in using
the printed optional Form 10 is lost later by
personnel referring to the carbon copies.
