Dick Harkness, on his own, in his broadcast tonight re
the Middle East will state that American Intelligence did a
good job in predicting what would happen; the President having
received a prediction in writing that the publicized probable
attack on Jordan by Israel was a smokescreen, that it was pre?
dicted that Israel would attack Egypt and that France and Britain
would intervene in the Canal Zone.
