STATOTHR "8. (Internal Use Only - JGO) Talked to Mr. Robert Blum, Senate
Foreign Relations Committee staff, at the suggestion of Angus Thuermer
and told him that

Mr. Blum said that these names would be most helpful. He made
no mention of when he will be returning to Headquarters to further refine
the documents selected for declassification during his visit to Headquarters
on Wednesday. "

"4. (Confidential - JGO) Met briefly with Mr. Robert Blum, Senate
Foreign Relations Committee staff, in the corridor of the Capitol. Mr. Blum
told me that he has received a classified book, apparently from Army, on
the I ission that he wants to review before finalizing his selection of
documents from the OSS files. In consequence, he hopes to return to
Headquarters on Monday to attempt a preliminary designation of documents
from the Indochina files for declassification. "
