The area 0-2, responsibility of the . Subcommittee has been defined as follows : "Subject to special fact- fi diLag requests which the full Committee may submit from time to tie, _ focus this Subcommittee on its ow~~. motion will fparticular attention on overseas commitments and military activities abroad which affect the foreign relations of the United States. The full-time Subcoovittee staff will consist of Li :.es G. Lowenstein and Richard M. Moose, both former Foreign Service Officers, who have been serving the staff of the Foreign Relations Committee. I-would appreciate it if you would designate an officer in your Agency to act as a liaison and point of contact for the Subcommittee.
