Approved For Release 2006/11/07: CIA-RDP74B00415R000200090014-2 Journal - Office of Legislative Counsel Wednesday - 27 December 1972 Page 2 4. Talked with Bill Woodruff, Counsel, Senate Appropria ions ommi ee, who repeated a comment he had made earlier to Mr. Maury to the effect that Chairman McClellan had expressed interest and some concern over the Reserve withdrawal notifications which had been made since he assumed chairmanship of the Committee. Woodruff said he was sure the Chairman would want to talk to the Director about this when Congress convenes. Woodruff also mentioned that he had a number of classified documents in his safekeeping which he wanted to return to the Agency for destruction and I plan to pick these up from him on Friday. He added, however, that he was keeping for his successor's use his complete file on Reserve withdrawals. 5. r. Donald Sanders, Chief Counsel, House Interna Security Committee, called to ask about employment possi- bilities as he is leaving his position sometime in February. I told him the situation is quite bleak, but suggested that he send over his resume and we would be glad to arrange for someone to talk to him, which he said he would appreciate.
