2. Talked with Joel Abramson, in the office
of Senator Charles McC. Mathias, and arranged for[ I
to meet with him and Colby King on Monday, 6 November, at p. m. in the
Senator's office.
3. met with
Mr. Norman Cornish, Deputy Staff Director, Foreign Operations and
v rnment Information Subcommittee of the House Government Operations
Committee and reviewed with him the proposed Agency response to the
Chairman's request for comments on Committee recommendations
concerning the administration of the Freedom of Information Act. The
proposed response is satisfactory to the Committee point of view and poses
no problem. for them. .
