1. (Internal Use Only - JGO) Delivered to Robert Blum, Senate
Foreign Relations Committee staff, the declassified OSS documents requested
for use in the Committee study on Indochina. Blum said he would review
them as soon as possible since some appear to be quite fuzzy and not usable
without reference to the originals. In particular he asked if another copy
could be made of the I Icalling card and the hand-written note on the back
of the card. An identical copy of the documents is bein delivered today to
the Archivist of the United States byF___ i in the office of STAT
the Special Assistant for Information Control, has been STAT
advised.
2. (Unclassified - JGO) In response to his call, I picked up from
Jack Norpel, Senate Internal Security Subcommittee staff, documents for
forwarding to OS.
3. (Internal Use Only - JGO) Picked up from Dr. John Brady and
Robert Boyer, House Foreign Affairs Committee staff, five copies of the
Committee page proof of the report of a staff survey team "The U. S. Heroin
Problem and Southeast Asia. " Boyer also asked if we could provide an
unclassified map of Burma showing the areas controlled by various insurgent
