In the absence of Miss Fosdick, Staff Director, Senate Subcommittee on National Security and International Operations, I talked to Judith Spahr, of the Subcommittee staff, and scheduled the request for briefing on China for Miss Fosdick and Mr. Charles Horner for 3:00 p. rn. Tuesday. OCI, has been advised. 25X1 (D. , Texas) who told me that he would appreciate it if I would get back in touch with him after the Congress adjourns hopefully sine die next Saturday. He said the coming week will be an extremely hectic one and that he himself, like many of the other members, is just about exhausted as he comes to the end of this session. Martin accompanied General Walt on his trip abroad, was granted a secret clearance by DOD in May 1972 for his Subcommittee work.
