In the absence of Mr. Herbert 25X1 Hoffman, House Judiciary Committee staff, I left with Mrs. Pratt, his Secretary, several unclassified documents relating to the status of the Espionage Act together with recommended changes in the findings of the President's Commission on Crime for the codification of the criminal law. 2. I In response to his call, I picked up a number of documents from Jack Nor el Senate Internal Security Subcommittee staff, for delivery to OS. 3. Met with Mr. Ralph Preston, House Appropriation 2a5X`l Committee staff, who told me that he talked to Representative Jamie L. Although Mr. Preston told him that an Agency briefing has been scheduled prior to their departure, he did not touch on any of the details.
