13. (Internal Use Only - JGO) Received a call from Mrs. Barbara
Raver, Administrative Assistant to Representative George A. Goodling
(R. , Pa. ), who inquired about the availability of the FBIS daily report for
a former Washington newsman now residing in York, Penna. I told
Mrs. Raver that the daily report may well be available to him in the
Library of Congress depository in New York but that it is also available
on subscription at $60. 00 a year. Mrs. Raver asked that we forward a
copy of the FBIS subscription application for her use.
14. (Unclassified - JGO) Talked to Mrs.Lois G. Myers, House
Post Office and Civil Service Committee staff, who told me that the
Chairman of the Civil Service Commission appeared before the full
Committee today and gave a posture-type briefing for the Committee.
.No agenda items were discussed by the Committee. Next meeting of the
full Committee will be scheduled for Thursday,. 17 April.
