3. (Internal Use Only - LLM) Called Mr. Paul Woodard, Depart-
ment of Justice, who had promised to contact Senator Sam Ervin's (D., N. C. )
Constitutional Rights Subcommittee to get a reading on the prospects of the
Ervin bill rider to H. R. 12652. Woodard was unable to get in touch with the
Chief Counsel, Larry Baskir, but promised to keep trying and let us know
the results.

L&L, who had a request from Representative Joel Broyhill (R., Va.) for a
copy o Ramsey Clark's statements over Radio Hanoi. I told Captain Neal
that we would take care of the matter directly and that we would inform him
