9. (Secret - JGO) Met with Mr. Homer McMurray, Clerk, Official
Reporters to House Committees, and arranged for the secure handling of the
transcripts of the Director's scheduled meeting with the Defense Appropria-
tions Subcommittee on 3 February. Mr. McMurray will schedule the
transcription of the reporter's tapes for a single room if at all possible.
Mr. McMurray was somewhat concerned about his present inability to
handle material requiring Q clearance of his reporters and transcribers on
a current basis due to a shortage of transcribers who hold Q clearance. I 25X1
told him that our hearing would not involve restricted data.
