I Provided Mr. Vincent Augliere, Staff Administrator, House Subcommittee on Foreign Operations and Govern- ment Information, a suggested reply to a letter Representative John Moss (D. , Calif.) had received from a constituent currently attending Oxford University. The reply was based on information provided us by CI Staff and Mr. Pforzheimer. 3. I I Talked with Representative Jack McDonald (R., Mich.) about our invitation to have lunch at the Agency next Tuesday. Mr. McDonald said he was looking forward to the visit and I provided him with road directions within the Agency compound. 4. CRS, called to say they had received a request from State Department for information on i ster of Food and Agriculture, and (who has written to Senator Hruska asking him o invite to the U. S. ). J. ), delivered a copy of the pamphlet describing the Agency and its functions, responsibilities, etc. This is to be mailed to a constituent who had raised questions concerning the Agency. See Journal of 10 February 1971. 25X1A 7. I I Together with I delivered and discussed with Mrr.Ro~F. Guthrie, Professional Staff member, House Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce, an interim reply in response to the bill, H. R. 538, relating to study and investigation of the allocation of frequencies for telecommunications. This is the same bill as introduced in last session.
