Approved For Release 2001/03/02 : CIA-RDP74B00415R000500120084-8 aw, Journal - Office of Legislative Counsel Wednesday - 29 March 1972 Page 3 25X1A 9. (Secret - GLC) With regard to the 21 March letter from Senator Symington to AID Administrator Hannah, said it had been suggested that Bill Sullivan, o . tate Department, an Rod O'Connor (C/FE, AID) appear before the Subcommittee on United States Security Agreements and Commitments Abroad for Hannah. It was also suggested the Agency provide AID with material which could be used as the basis for response by these men to the questions posed by Symington in his letter concerning CIA. I coordinated on a cable to the field to this effect with the understanding that this proposal would be raised with Mr. Karamessines and presumably by him with the Director. 10. (Unclassified - GLC) Ralph Hutto, Senate Internal Security Sub- committee staff, called to say they would be sending the Soviet intelligence bibliographies to GPO for printing early tomorrow morning. He said he was alerting us in the event we would like to ride the jacket for copies which we might want in excess of the 200 which we might obtain from the'Subcommittee 25X1.Asupply (the jacket number is 68335). I passed this information on to_ 25X1 and told him arrangements should be made with GPO today if we wanted to "ride the jacket" for additional copies. 11. (Internal Use Only - LLM) Miss Val Fleischacker, in the office of Representative Donald Fraser (D. , Minn. ), called on behalf of a constituent who is trying to locate her son, Phillip L. Binstock, believed to be in New Zealand, to inform him of his father's death. After checking with the Office of Security, I informed Miss Fleischacker that we have no record of the individual and suggested that she try the State Department. 25X1A 25X1A cc: ER O/DDCI Ex/Dir 25X1A Mr. Houston Mr. Thuermer DDI DDS DDS&T EA/DDP OPPB 25X1 A Item 7 - Approved For Release 2d NJ JOHN M.
