FOIAb3b Sanitized -Approved For Relea ~+ October 1867 OER~DDI, (x5018} came down to ask what arrangements we can make for a speaker to address the Daniel 25X1A9a J. O'Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia, on the subject of CIA functions and responsibilities. Timothy, the son of our employee is chairman of the Speakers Bureau of the Student Council which is sponsoring this request. There are some 1500 students, boys and girls, in the school.. The date for the speech would be at our convenience, sometime between now and Christmas, or even the beginning of the year. The assemblies usually last ab out ~+5 minutes. 25X1 Aga thougk~t that such a speech would improve CTA's image in certain areas, would have certain recruitment value, and would help these students explain what CIA does when they go on to college. 25X1A9a 25X1A9a ~. z ,~.e K s..c--~.t .~ /~V~./ ~ Get- ~~ ~i'~,,a 25X1A9a I told him about Mr activities in this area, and he asked me to te11 you that he thinks 25X1A9a would be most acceptable to the student body, and to ro er Theodore, who is the head. of this Catholic High School. 25X1A9a /,C L.c.u~i--~=-+%t ~2~l, of ~'`._c...r? fc.s~.- vG tic.. za,.~--?-`---:: ~d for Release : CIA-R~~~,~A~a001 R -0
