lies sticking their heads into dal-nger spots and by
eautiful women who ferret qut tnemy secrets.
The director general brings the CIA? down to
art.h. Actually, he says, the basic work of intelligence
s the compilation, bard, painstaking and detailed
-wear( h and analysis and proper interpretation and
aluation of information from all sources on con-
iii ions outside the United States.
Distilling this great mass of data, may be drab,
unglamorous work, but it Is the stuff on which the
hi chest decisions for the security of the nation are
b,c sed.
We hope..,, s left a little of something
for our imaginations.. mely operating Intelligence
