The ceremony took place Jul 14 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. Y. Carpenter of Manassas in the presence of a small famil group. The Rev. Lester Schleh, pastor of Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Manassas, was the officiating minister. The bride wore a dress o blue cotton eyelet with white accessories and a corsage o white roses. Miss Betty Heflin, her sis- ter's maid of honor and only attendant, wore a yellow cotton eyelet and a corsage of yellow roses. M. Y. Carpenter, was best man for the bridegroom. The couple will make their home at 331 West Church Street in Manassas. Mr. Haynes is an employee of Virginia Packing Company of Manassas.
