for George Seaton. Mr. Denton said he had talked with you about helping Mr.
Seaton with background of COUNI'FRFEIT TRAITOR. Seaton is to be in Washington

CBS news broadcast which occurred last night between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Be
said he could not discuss over the phone the portion in which he was interested
and asked for the entire text. We later determined that the broadcast to which
he referred was the same thing which I saw by Walter Cronkite on tv, Channel 5,
at 11 p.m. that night. I have talked to RADIO REPORTS and they can get us the
transcript from Nev York; I wanted to wait however before ordering the
transcript, to check with you. I have talked t and he does not peem

10. Letter from Arthur Settel, META. Personal letter I thought better
answered by you; didn't seem too much delay if held til your return.
11, Policy on dissemination of CIA translations, evidently put through by
AD/CR without consultation with you. Seemed to me odd that anyone should have
"taken your interest into consideration 3c" (see routing slip) without
determining what "your interest" was orlrxing out if this was the way to take
it into consideration. Perhaps you knew all about this. If not, thought you might
want to look into it.
