Kronthal, a 40-year-old Central intelligence Agency administrative employe, was found dead in his Georgetown home today, Homicide Squad detectives said. A. note "indicating possible sui- o- Fellow employes went to the two- story, white-brick row house at 1662 32d.st nw about 17 a. m. because Mr. Kronthal hadn't showed up for work this morning, Detective Sergts. R. E. Talbot and Bernard Crooke said. They found Mr. Kronthal, who lived alone, fully dressed on a day bed on the second floor, Police said they don't know what caused his death, and are trying to learn from his maid when he was last seen alive. Mr. Kronthal, came from Deal, N. J. He had worked for CIA for some time in a minor administra- tive capacity. He was graduated from Yale University in 1934.
