The Security representative stated that nothing of a classified nature 25X1 A9a was divulged, -declined to answer some questions, explaining that he did not want to do 20 years in jail, and frequently referred students to such 25X1A9a publ cations as Ramparts. -explained his recruitment by CIA, his assignment to they e5Fe 4T corps, and his training and eventual assignment 25X1A6a to the ate. The remainder of the program was devoted question and answer session. His talk was a total denunciation of CIA and its activities. He said that he left the Agency when he discovered that the methods, techniques, and operations of the Agency were contrary to his moral and ethical code. He cited no specific examples, but he inferred that CIA engaged in assassi- nations, extort, dishonesty, trickery, deceit, fraud, etc . He referred to CIA 25X1 A9a azid its employees as inept, it effici t, incompetent, irresponsible and confused. - said that he fears the awesome power of CIA., stating that it Is unchecked by Congress or the President. He claimed that CIA still has him under surveii- 25X1 A9a lance and that, from time to time, an old friend visits him and suggests abandon- ment of his ,anti-CIA b +ior. onciuded his talk with a warning to all tonstrate peacefully and not in a manner that will erfere with the rights of interviewees to visit the CIA recruiter, and that they should adhere to the college regulations concerning demonstrations.
