and as a student in the National
War College. His most recent as-
signment was on the staff of the
Army comptroller.
Seeman and his wife have three
daughters, Diane, 18; Nancy, 16,
and Charlotte, 11. .
E. Seeman, 48, is expected to ar-
rive in Dallas next week to take
over as southwestern division Army
l engineer from Brigadier General,
Herbert D. Vogel.
Division headquarters here an-; _
nounced Monday Seeman will re-:,
place Vogel, who. has been ap-
pointed to the board of the Inessee Valley Authority.
Seeman, a native of Wisconsin,
was graduated from the US Mili-
i ary Academy in 1928 and has a
k:v,raduate degree in engineering
I from Princeton.
After World War II service in
the China-Burma-India theater, he
i served in the Manhattan engineer-
111g, district, which had developed
I he atomic bomb. Since then he
has served on The statf of the
