The Archeological So-
ciety of Maryland would
like to hear from Wa'shing-
ton area residents who
have discovered arrow-
heads or other Indian rel-
ics near their homes.
The Society's Southwest-
ern Chapter is compiling
a list of locations occupied
by prehistoric Indians in
the vicinity of Washington
and the Potomac Valley.
Persons discovering rel-
ics may notify Chapter
chairman William A. Tid-
well, 3701 Blackthorn st.,
Chevy Chase, who also is
interested in hearing from
persons interested in join-
ing the Chapter.
