Tofte, a high- ranking CIA official. The CIA said Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Slocum, CIA em- p l o y e s, and Charles D. I Speake, a security represent- ative of CIA, were In the Tofte home in the period when it is alleged that the $20,000 in diamonds and sapphires were stolen. Tofte and Mrs. Tofte in statements to the police have said they found certain CIA papers, some "manuscripts" that were Tofte's personal property and the jewels were m i s s i n g between Saturday morning July 23 and Sunday j evening, July 24.
