? Just last month we. were scaring ourselves grey,
over the incredible episode of McGeorge Bundy's i
getting into the Sunday rotogravure with an armful
of clearly marked and legible TOP SECRET DINAR gov
ernment papers, and now here comes Richard Cross-
man, Labor Housing Minister in Her Majesty's Serv-
ice, taking along a briefcase full of classified docu-.
ments to a restaurant, openly mulling them over,
during dinner, paying the chit, and then-horror upon,
horror-walking off leaving eighteen precious pages';,
'under the bloomin' table. Luckily for England, tin
luckily for Mr. Crossman, the papers were retrieved,
shoe-scuffed and claret-stained, by a member, of the'
opposition party, the Conservative Geoffrey Blundell-'
Brown, who of course went -straight to Scotland Yard.,
And the press. So relieved are we that we won't
even ask what Blundell-Brown was doing under the'
