violence - and an alarming rise. in
the national crime rate - I feel
CBS-TV should be severely censured
and rebuked for their nationally pub-
licized attitude concerning this na-
tion's top crime-fighting agencies.
I refer to their recent 4-hour anal -

tinned the veracity, the very integri-
ty of both agencies and their.-top offi-

The Warren Commission, seven
men of impeccable character, '.
charged each agency;: with. the duty
of reporting'on its own actions: But
CBS-TV intimated that these agen-
cies and their op officials were not ;
capable of. doing so ".~ and, in? effect,
questioned the hc~nesty'af sworn dep- ;'
ositions frorz2 these'':aa.gencios and ~:
their top officials. CBS .suggested ~-
such reports should have been made
by outside investigators. (CBS-TV ~'

No one is naive enough to believe
either the FBI or CIA are perfect;

however, to question the

ity, honesty, integrity :',af these serd-
