On Thursday, February 9th, I shall be coming out
to Langley in the afternoon, on official business.
Perhaps it would be sensible for me to stop by
for a few minutes, so as to: (1) give you a copy of
the introduction to my Intelligence and National Se-
curity bibliography; (2) obtain any reactions or cri-
ticisms of it, particularly of the critique of the
section 21 literature and past CIA public relations
practices; and (3) discuss with you possible disserrina-
tion policy, in view of proposals for its publication
as (i) an occasional paper of Harvard's Center for
International Affairs, or (ii) as a commercial press
publication.
I'll telephone your office shortly after my
plane reaches Washington, in case you'd be free for
a short session late Thursday.
