proves the close watch we are keeping on Red China. Spy satellites
and U-2 planes have kept a photographic record of all Chinese prep-
arations. The photos recently showed special construction projects
and American atomic experts immediately recognized them as prepara-
tion for an atomic explosion. This confirmed other intelligence
reports that the Chinese Reds intended to set off a bomb as part of
their annual celebration of the Chinese Revolution.

an American physicist helped the Red Chinese develop the atomic bomb.
She is Joan Chase Hinton, a physicist who worked on the American
A-Bomb during World War II, but after China went communist slipped
