Even so, they m i g h t have trouble
"overtaking and surpassing" us. We and
the South Vietnamese government that
our money supports have burned homes,
destroyed crops, driven' men and wom-
en into exile, fought with their priests
and tortured their students. It is hard to
imagine what the Communists could do
to the Vietnamese that would be worse
-but maybe they will' think of some-
thing.
In any case, we would he saving a
million dollars a day and watching some-
body else
