Singapore's Prime Minis-
ter Lee, Kuan Yew, who once
accused the United States of
offering him a $3 million,,
bribe, will visit Washington
Oct. 17-18 and meet with
President Johnson.
In announcing today that
Lee had accepted an invita-
tion to come here, the White
House said he also will visit
New York and several other
cities.
Lee created a furor in
August 1965 by charging he
had been offered a $3 mil-
lion bribe to keep quiet
about Centtal Intelligence
Agency activities in Singa-
pore in 1960. ?
