MEMORANDUM FOR THE DIRECTOR
1. This memorandum recommends adion in Paragraph 3.
2. Bill Hauck of the American Legion says that their National
Commander, Preston J. Moore, will be in Washington on October 21, 22
and 23. He would like to come to visit with you accompanied by Mr.
Hauck at a time of your selection during the forenoon of Tuesday,
October 21 or at any time of yod'selection in the forenoon or in the
afternoon of October 22 or October 23. He has luncheon engagements
on all three days. Mr. Hauck would like, if possible, to get an appoint-
ment set by tomorrow so that they can make other appointments with
Government officials. He says he believes an half hour would suffice
but that the time element will be completely in your hands.
3. RECOMMENDATION: That you see Commander Moore at your con-
venience on one of these three dates and that 45 minutes be allotted
for his visit.
