PARIS, March 20-The
suit of an owner of Greek ships,
charging that he}had been de-
Ifrauded by Aristotle Onassis,
' was dismissed today by a French,
examining magistrate.
The complaint was filed in No-
vember, 1954, by Spyridon Cata-
podis. He alleged that M. Onas-
sis had reneged on acontract
to pay him #200,000 ($560,000) f
for his efforts in behalf of M.I
Onassis" oil dealings with the i
Saudi Arabian authorities. }
M. Catapodis declared khe
contract between the two men
was signed by M. Onassis in dis-
appearing ink. M. Onassis, re-
plied that he had handled the
negotiations alone.
The negotiations resulted,
early in 1954, in a contract be-
tween the Saudi `Arabian gov-
enment and M. Onassis under
which the latter received a
priority in hauling Saudi Ara-
bia's annual production.. of 40,-
000,000 tons of oil.
