Russian spy for 34 years, his
son said on a radio-television
broadcast here. The elver
Philby, who told his son about
his spy career during the
youth's recent visit to ' Mos-
cow, had been named as the
third Zan in the Burgess-
MacLean defection in 1951
and reportedly tipped off the
two Soviets so they could flee
behind the Iron Curtain.
