Gentile Succeeds Reilly,
In State Depart-

Intelligence Agency executive has
been appointed as the No. 2
security officer in the State De-
partment, it was announced here
today.
The new security man, G. Mar-
vin Gentile, assumes the title of
deputy assistant secretary for se-
curity replacing John F. , Reilly, l
whose resignation was announced
last November.
Quit In Otepka Case
Reilly quit his job as the after-
math of hearings in the case of
Otto F. Otepka, a State Depart.
ment security officer who was
suspended with pay on charges of
"leaking" classified information.
