widow, said in a telephon in-
terview from her hote.,in
Shanghai, where she arr, ed
Sunday, that she spent- two
hours with her son yesterday.
It Was her first visit with him
in'more than four years;;'',
"He" looked fairly well,". she
said. He was in good spirits
and was very happy to see me."
Mr. Redmond, a.former, em-
ploye of an import-export con-
