Mrs. Marguerite Oswald, who
apparently failed to sway the
Warren Commission, set out on
lies own today to try to prove
her slain son innocent of the
assassination of President Ken-
nedy.
"I still believe Lee is in-
nocent," she told newsmen after
her final session with the com-
mission.
" es, in saying that Lee was
not the killer and was set up
to take the blame. I believe my
son is a scapegoat."
Mrs. Oswald said she- believed
her son was an agent of the
Central Intelligence Agency.

a CIA agent?" Mrs. Oswald said.
She said she planned to "snake
public appearances and investi-
gate if it takes another year
to find the Presidant's assassin
because I believe he is still at
large.'

chairman of the panel, said Mrs.
Oswald had not given the com-
naission any information about
the assassination "that would
chance the picture as we have
known it."
