Soviet Ambassador to Sweden,
Nikolai D. Belokhvostikov. of-i
ficially denied today that em-t
ployes of the Soviet Embassy
had spied in Sweden.
The Ambassador saw the For-
eign Minister, Torsten Nilsson,
in his office and rejected a
Swedish protest.
Sweden protested to the So-
viet Government shortly after a
Swedish A?ir Force colonel, Stig
Wennerstrom, was arrested on
June 20 on charges of espio-
nage for the Soviet Union.
