Dear Mr. Dickinson:
Reference is made to your letter of 10 April 1952 regarding
the establishment of official liaison between personnel of the
National Security Resources Board and personnel of the Directorate
of Intelligence, USAF.
I have carefully considered your request and it appears that
the proposed procedure would not be in consonance with Section
102 (d) of the National Security Act of 1947.
However, at the first opportunity I shall discuss the matter
personally with General W. B. Smith, Director of Central Intelligence
and shall communicate with you further.
I can assure you of the desire of the Air Force to cooperate in
every respect with the National Security Resources Board.
