MEMORANDUM FOR GENERAL W. B. SMITH, DIRECTOR OF CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE
SUBJECT: (Unclassified) Request for Liaison Between NSRB and D/I, USAF
In accordance with your conversation with Colonel E. H. Porter of
this Directorate after the IAC meeting on 6 May 1952, I have suggested
to the National Security Resources Board that they contact Mr. Loftus
Becker, Deputy Director of CIA to obtain studies and estimates on the
strategic vulnerability of the United States, On the basis of subse-
quent conversation I had with Mr. Dickinson, I have agreed to the
establishment of liaison between the Directorate of Intelligence, USAF
and the NSRB for the purpose of discussing air targeting theories.
