REFERENCE: Memorandum from AD/CD to AD/RR, subject as above, dated
30 November 1950.
1. Information requested in paragraph 4 of reference memorandum
is furnished herewith.
2, The Revised Production Schedule for FY 1951, which was
approved by the NIS Committee on 27 December 1950, provides for
production of NIS elements on the Far Eastern countries as shown in
attachment hereto. The dates shown are the dates on which these
elements are to be submitted to D/Ba by the producing agency and they
do not indicate publication date. Publication dates cannot be determined
prior to receipt of contributions in D/Ba as processing time in D/Ba
depends upon the qualitative adequacy of the material and upon other
factors beyond the control of this office.
3. In addition to the scheduled production by the agencies, NIS
elements now being processed in D/Ba are shown. Unless major revisions
are found necessary, these elements will be published before the end of
FY 1951.
