SUB3ECTt Monthly Activities Report for April 1964
TO: Commander, WRSP-IV
1. Flight Activitiesx The Personal Equipment section supported 32 high flight*
with no Personal Equipment problem. This include 16 headquarters missions./
2. Tra icing: On 22 April we conducted water training at base pool for drivers
numbers 30, 16, and 50. This training involved Jumping into pool with full press-
ure ,gear, water wings and l f'e V 4to. All drivers were successful in entering life
rafts from the water.

4. 0445 Seat Peck: The new seat pack is undergoing extended flight tests to
check pilot confort and seating height. So far it has flxarn fourtywaix hour

difference if any in the confort area. We will suggest a few minor refinements
in the production models as we go along with out test program. /

reached at this time. We do plan to install 30 feet n catnpoy's in our present
parachutes. They have been ordered. At present our parachutes contains 28 feet
C-9 canpoy's. We feed going to 30 feet canpoy should reduce pilots decent rate

6. P.E. Van (New)t We have received from headquarters our new PE. Transfer
Truck, a 1963 Ford V?eneett. The truck looks good with the following comments,

7. P.B. Van (old) 014 P.E. Van was turned Lim to Base Motor Pool
is a 32,000 BTU 84 AMP's (Start) and 23 AMP's (Run). The Generator Unit is fisted
at 31.3 AMP's. This problem has been turned over to D.M. and Headquarters,
